The Open API enables your application to submit issue records to ProblemTracker directly.  The Open API is based on Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and XML technologies.

Source Control Integration 

ProblemTracker is integrated with Microsoft Visual Source Safe 6 and Visual Source .NET.  

Users can

• Associate source files with problem records.  From within ProblemTracker, user can connect to a VSS repository and displays the list of projects and files.  From a problem record in ProblemTracker, the user can see the files that are associated with the problem record.
• View
  • source file changes (differences)
  • source file version history and history details
• Generate reports.  For example, report on
  • all files changed for a particular release
  • all problem reports associated with a particular source file
• Control
  • which users may view source file information
  • which users may associate source files with problem records.
